The Start Up of Eclipse

Here at eclipse school of beauty we specialise in training for over 40 different courses at varying NVQ levels of beauty. We are a multi award winning training company with four academies stretching over the South of England and a sister franchise of training academies in the north- not bad for a company that started in the back room of a tanning shop!

So, to go back to the very beginning and where eclipse came from…

After the stress of teaching funded courses for seven years, and 18+ years in the beauty industry, Lola Campbell – our company founder- made the career decision to start “Eclipse” training courses in April 2017 as a private beauty training facility. Upon first opening, Lola was solely delivering non funded short courses to anyone who wanted to train in the following fields:

  • Classic clashes
  • Russian lashes
  • Lash lift
  • Brow tidying and definition
  • Microblading
  • a self-created beginners course to facials named the Botanical skin care course.

Whilst Lola was juggling with the development of the training Academy, working a part time job in a laser clinic and a baby on the way(!) it only made sense that she reached out to our very own Adam Matthews. Initially Lola had reached out to Adam to seek help with social media and advice on how accelerate the Academy. However, with Adams extensive background knowledge in social media, business development and forever evolving expertise in the beauty field, it made sense for them to pair up and become business partners. Adam became fellow CEO of Eclipse school of Beauty in November 2017.

With this newfound and unstoppable partnership, “Eclipse school of Beauty” was born, began to excel and within a short six months, our second academy in Brentwood opened its doors.

Since 2017, the team efforts of Adam and Lola have meant Nothing but continual growth and success of Eclipse. Eclipse school of Beauty moved into the new HQ in Bexleyheath, a further four training academies opened up throughout the South of England, we now operate with an admin team of eight members, our training team consists of a further 15  tutors, and with nothing but pure passion, dedication and an eager attitude to learning, it was only inevitable that Eclipse school of Beauty is now renound for being the beating heart of training facilities in the beauty and aesthetics industry.

At eclipse school of beauty, we don’t only pride ourselves on thorough training but also our top priority is the safe practise of all treatments taught. We offer the highest level of training not only in foundation courses but also in advanced training whether it be VTCT for micropigmentation and microblading, we offer level 7 beauty courses but also Physiology and anatomy learning for those with no previous experience or qualifications within the beauty field. Our training is both professional and engaging not only in the classroom, but we also offer lifetime support and 24-hour help lines for students who have qualified and completed training with us.

We offer further training to those who have previously qualified elsewhere but have perhaps not received an adequate level of training that they then feel confident to go on and perform alone. We also offer refresher courses for our previous students who have already qualified with us but feel that they would benefit from further training, extra confidence, and advice. We offer these refresher courses to our students complimentary.

As a student or learner, once you have completed your course, we then create an online learning portal for you, which you have unlimited access to via our website. within this learning portal you will receive further theory revision, practical videos of demonstrations of treatments learned which are performed by our tutors. The online learning portal also includes theory quizzes for you to do in the privacy of your own home. We should also mention that we even offer WhatsApp and Facebook support groups for each individual course that we teach- which allows access to all past and previous students who have trained with us. On these groups, we have members of our admin team and our tutors in the specialised fields who you can interact with 24hours a day to answer any questions you have, you can ask advice or opinions from other practitioners/ previously qualified students of ours which we feel makes for an outstandingly supportive and progressive community.
