Terms & Conditions
Comprehensive guidelines for our students, models, and partners.
Booking
- 1.1 A place on any Eclipse course is only confirmed once payment of the required deposit or course fee has been received.
- 1.2 Course places are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual who completed the booking.
- 1.3 Eclipse reserves the right to refuse, cancel or reschedule a booking where course requirements, prerequisites or safety requirements are not met.
- 1.4 Students must attend the full course and complete all required elements in order to receive certification.
Payment
- 2.1 Course fees must be paid in full before the course start date unless a written instalment agreement has been approved by Eclipse.
- 2.2 Payment options may include full payment, a deposit with the remaining balance due before the course start date, or an approved instalment plan.
- 2.3 Deposits and initial instalments are non-refundable except where cancellation occurs within the statutory 14 day cooling off period.
- 2.4 Where instalment plans are agreed, payments must be made on the agreed dates. Failure to make payments may result in suspension from the course, removal from the course, or additional administration or re enrolment fees.
- 2.5 Any outstanding course fees remain payable even if the student withdraws from the course or fails to complete the course.
Attendance
- 3.1 Students are expected to attend all training sessions associated with their course.
- 3.2 Failure to attend any part of the course may prevent the student from successfully completing the course or receiving certification.
- 3.3 If a student misses training due to absence, they may be required to attend additional training dates or pay additional fees to complete the course.
- 3.4 Eclipse cannot guarantee availability on future courses for missed sessions.
04. Course Changes
4.1 Eclipse reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course content, training schedules, tutors, venues or course dates where necessary.
4.3 If Eclipse cancels a course for any reason, students will be offered either an alternative course date or a full refund of any fees paid.
05. Tutor Availability
5.1 In the event that a tutor becomes unavailable due to illness or circumstances beyond our control, Eclipse will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement tutor.
5.2 Where this is not possible, the course may be postponed or rescheduled.
Cancellation and Refund
6.1 Statutory 14-Day Cooling Off Period
Under UK consumer law, students have a 14 day cooling off period from the date of booking. During this period a student may cancel their booking in writing and receive a refund minus a £50 administration fee. 6.3 Note: If a course begins during the cooling off period and the student chooses to attend, the student acknowledges that they waive their right to cancel.
6.4 After the 14 day cooling off period has expired, course fees and deposits are non refundable. 6.6 Refunds will not be issued for non attendance, illness, change of circumstances, or failure to complete coursework or assessments.
6.7 Any approved refunds will be processed within 10 working days.
Deferral and Re Registration
- 7.1 Requests to defer a course must be made in writing.
- 7.2 Deferrals may be granted at the discretion of Eclipse and are subject to course availability.
- 7.3 Students who defer their training may be required to complete a re registration form, attend additional training sessions, or pay additional training fees.
Conduct
- 8.1 Students are expected to behave professionally at all times while attending training sessions or visiting training premises.
- 8.2 Eclipse reserves the right to remove a student from a course where their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or abusive.
- 8.3 Where a student is removed due to misconduct, course fees will not be refunded and certification may be withheld.
- 8.4 Students may also be liable for any costs arising from damage to property caused by their behaviour.
Defining Professional Standards
Chargeback & Payment Disputes
- 17.1 If a student has any issue or dispute regarding payment, they must contact Eclipse directly in writing to allow the matter to be investigated and resolved.
- 17.2 Students must not initiate a chargeback, payment reversal or dispute with their bank, credit card provider, Klarna or other payment provider without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with Eclipse.
- 17.3 Where a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Eclipse reserves the right to immediately suspend access to training, certification, course materials and future bookings until the dispute has been resolved.
- 17.4 If a chargeback or payment dispute is found to be invalid or resolved in favour of Eclipse, the student remains responsible for any outstanding course fees and any additional administrative or recovery costs incurred.
Certification Discretion Clause
- 18.1 Certification will only be issued once the student has successfully completed all required training, assessments, coursework, examinations and competency requirements associated with the course.
- 18.2 Eclipse reserves the right to withhold certification where a student has not met the required standards of competence, professionalism or assessment criteria.
- 18.3 Payment for a course does not guarantee certification. Certification is only granted once all course requirements have been successfully completed and verified.
- 18.4 Where coursework, assignments or assessments do not meet the required standard, the student may be required to resubmit work, undertake further training or pay additional reassessment fees.
